Let the Days Just Be the Days

I will let the days just be the days. My promise to myself this year is to not dwell on yesterday or concentrate on tomorrow, but to only take on today. This is the day I’ve been given to begin afresh!

Gif highlighting each day of the week.

Mondays – Time to review and respond to emails. It’s a don’t be hard on myself kind of day. The reality maybe only responding to emails and requests instead of diving right into a project.

Tuesdays – These days are my busiest where I’m in the weeds tackling priority projects. My foot is on the gas pedal and I’m in full motion.

Wednesdays – Hump day! On this day I see where I am in my priorities.

Thursdays – My review days for taking note of lessons learned up to this point. In addition, this is a good day to decide which tasks to delegate to next week.

Fridays – I’m preparing for the days ahead while celebrating the accomplishments of the week thus far.

Saturdays – These days are open for adventure or simply a nice bike ride, dinner with friends or grabbing a good nonfiction book with a cup of tea. A time to just unwind. Let today just be the day.

Sundays – Chill, church, and family time. I embrace rest and turn my brain off. No overthinking about anything.

There’s no better time than right now to enjoy the day. Let today just be the day.
